Mark Freer
Senior Pastor
Mark Freer was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Music was a big part of the neighborhood where Mark grew up, and also a big part of his family history. Mark describes himself as a "Blues guitar player and a follower of Jesus." Mark has served as the pastor at Grace Christian Fellowship since 1980. Mark is a gifted musician, worship leader, teacher and pastor with a passion to establish God’s people in the grace of God. Mark has worked for many years in third world nations, training leaders and establishing churches. During the 90's Mark joined Master Builders, a fellowship of churches and then became part of the leadership team. Master Builders is a diverse group of churches across the United States and abroad (visit www.mbfellowship.org for more information). Mark has a web-site called “Bluesman” — www.freerblues.com. This website is about music, especially Blues, theology, humor, culture and anything else that rolls through his brain. “The sky is crying look at the tears roll down the street”.
